It’s hard for celebrities to come back after big scandals, especially serious ones.
Yet, these K-Drama actors managed to bounce back just fine after being involved in some career ruining controversies.
Kim Seonho
Kim Seonho’s case is one of the strangest ones in the industry.
An anonymous netizen went on Pann Nate in October 2021, accusing a “rising star Actor K” of harming her physically and mentally while the two were dating.
The user said she accidentally got pregnant with his child in July of 2020 and even though she claimed she wanted to keep the baby, the actor made her get an abortion, saying that her pregnancy would ruin his career.
Since the user was vague about the actor’s identity, people assumed that it was Kim Seonho.
Due to mismanagement from his company, he lost roles, brand endorsements and variety show appearances.
It was then revealed by Dispatch that Seonho was very supportive of the pregnancy and both of them had agreed to the abortion.
The companies that he had brand deals with took him back and he got cast as the lead in a theatre play called “Touching The Void”.
