The show takes the concept a step further from contestants being total strangers by accepting pairs of close friends who are in platonic relationships and trying to find an answer to the question “Is it possible to be friends between a man and a woman?”.
Contestants experience meeting their friends in a new environment which can make them feel different about their friends.
While some viewers find everything so obvious, some get curious and ask, “ Will they get rid of being stuck at the crossroad of friendship and love?”
Change Days (S1 7.5, S2 7.9)
Three couples on the brink of breaking up come together as participants. During the show, they switch partners and share their concerns and thoughts about their current relationship while going on dates and completing various missions.
In the end, they have to make a decision: remain in their relationship or start a new one with a different partner.
While some viewers considered it worse than EXchange in every respect, some said they were very satisfied with the show because the people seemed real and authentic.
