Ku Hye Sun and Ahn Jae Hyun
Hye Sun and Jae Hyun met when they were playing each other’s love interest in 2015’s drama Blood.
Their on-screen feelings seeped into real life and the two actually ended up marrying each other in 2016.
The two were married until 2019, until their shared agency, HB Entertainment, released a statement, saying:
“Despite the encouragement and expectations of many, the two actors recently reached a point where they felt they could no longer maintain their marriage due to various issues. And after a serious conversation, they both agreed to get a divorce.”
However, this was not okay with Hye Sun, who said on Instagram that they were in the process of talking about a divorce, but nothing was settled yet, and that the statement came out without her knowledge.
The two started dragging each other through the mud, with Hye Sun wanting to stay together and Jae Hyun wanting her to sign the divorce papers.
Hye Sun continued to make a fuss in the public eye until she calmed down and explained that the reason behind her outbursts was the fact that she had no one else to turn to.
The two have officially divorced in July 2020.
