Kim Ji Soo

As he finally got his big break as the lead role in the drama River Where The Moon Rises, Ji Soo was pulled into rumors of school violence which he had done prior to his acting debut and was put under fire and received terrible backlash.

It started when an anonymous person posted about his personal experience as Ji Soo’s schoolmate.

He detailed how Ji Soo and his group of friends made middle school life hell for those they could pick on and claimed they physically and verbally mistreated them and also stole from them.

Ji Soo then eventually admitted to those claims and apologized for his actions.

He also stepped down from the drama even though it was still ongoing and his role was replaced with actor Na In Woo.

But it does not end there, the drama production company even sued him and his agency for $2.6million worth of damages.

But after further investigations, Ji Soo’s law firm issued a new statement explaining that the creator of the post lied and made the accusations up.

They were able to find the accuser through a search and seizure of the IP address and were able to receive a handwritten letter from him.
