Since May of this year, rumors have been going around that BTS’ V and Jennie from Blackpink have been seeing each other.
Rumors emerged after they were allegedly spotted on Jeju Island together.
A photo circulated on social media which showed a woman with darker hair wearing a pair of Tambu sunglasses by Gentle Monster.
Jennie does happen to have those glasses, as she showcased on her Instagram.

However, at the time she also posted her new blonde haircolor.

YG-entertainment released a statement regarding the rumors in which they said that they had nothing to say about the matter.
V’s label did not put out any statement.
Fans believed that the rumors were sparked by HYBE themselves, to draw attention away from the controversy surrounding their brand new girl group LE SSERAFIM.
One of the members was in the midst of a bullying scandal.
Whether BTS’ V and BLACKPINK’s Jennie were together on Jeju Island or not will remain a mystery.
