In the 18th episode, he finally confessed his feelings to Deok Sun!
He first handed her the ring which he was supposed to give to her when he graduated, then told her he likes her.
Jung Hwan then continued on how he always thinks about her and started recounting all the things he did for Deok Sun back then.
But in the end, he realized he was too late and had to give up his love for her, so he ended his confession by saying it was just a joke.
