Alchemy Of Souls was officially renewed for a second season on August 26th and it seems that the sequel will not have the same title as the first one.
The next season will focus on Jang Uk and Naksu finding their way back to each other, forming light and shadow together, so the title of the drama is being changed to Alchemy Of Souls: Light & Shadow.
Cast and crew are currently working hard to shoot all the scenes for the second part which is set to air in December.
Official release dates have not been confirmed yet, but the first episode is rumored to air on December 10th.
A source close to Netflix revealed even more exciting news: it seems we will be getting not one but two episodes a week!
Another change is that this time around, Jung So Min will not be playing a lead role.
Instead, she will be returning as a supporting actress and there will be room for Go Yoon Jung to captivate our hearts as the lead actress.
Some fans are already excited to see Yoon Jung on their screens again, others are sad to see So Min go.
For season 2 it is expected that Naksu will return to her own body which will surely create a unique storyline!
