People all across the world have been intrigued by Extraordinary Attorney Woo‘s amazing storyline and it leaves fans wondering: what is next?

The drama has been renewed for a second season, according to Aestory’s President Lee Sang Baek, who announced the news on August 17.

The goal is that for season 2, neither the cast members nor members of the production team will be changed.

The next season is set to premiere in 2024. It is highly possible that this will be changed as the cast and crew members’ particular schedules can make it take longer to film.

Kang Tae Oh’s enlistment is one of the major obstacles in scheduling the filming as he enlisted in the military on September 20th.

Future episodes might not focus as much on him because the crew need to adjust to his absence.

As of now, production is set to start sometime in 2023.

Some viewers feel like a second season will drag the show out too much, even lead actress Park Eun Bin had her doubts about it.

In an interview Eun Bin shared that she is afraid she will not be able to meet the expectations set for her.

For the next season it is expected that every episode will focus on a new case.

Another point of focus could be Young-woo’s family dynamics.

Fans also felt like Min-woo deserves a more fleshed out development arc in season 2.

It is expected that particular attention will be paid to an even more representative portrayal of Young-woo’s autism.

For now, all we can do is wait until 2024.
