2014: Park Shin Hye
She was noticed first when she appeared in music videos. In 2003, she became known for her debut role in Stairway to Heaven.
Her first adult leading role was in Tree of Heaven (2006). In 2009, the actress gained more recognition with her role in You’re Beautiful.
Her popularity rose through Heartstrings in 2011. In 2014, she starred in Heirs which made her experience a rise in popularity domestically and internationally, and a Hallyu star.
2015: Hwang Jung Eum
She started her career as a lead vocalist in K-pop group Sugar in 2002, but in 2004 left the group to pursue a solo career.
Her first appearance in a drama was with The Person I Love in 2007. This was followed by her important projects such as High Kick Through the Roof (2009), her first leading role Listen to My Heart (2011), and Secret Love (2013).
2015 became her year and she starred in two hit dramas of that year, Kill Me Heal Me and She Was Pretty which made her the most shining actress of the year.
