It has been a while since the contestants of Single’s Inferno left their romantic getaway.
The question is: what happened to the lovebirds after they left?
For Song Jia, it is an understatement to say that the return to real life was quite tough.
In less than a week the entire internet turned against her, because a netizen pointed out she was wearing a fake designer item in an Instagram post.

People started going through all of her posts and kept pointing out that some items were not authentic.
To make matters worse, her father was reported to be running a brothel in Busan, her brother allegedly assaulted a soldier in the military and Jia herself was accused of fabricating her entire identity.
These scandals made Jia make the decision to vanish from the internet completely for a few months.
In the meantime, she reportedly donated to charity and even volunteered.
For five months there was not a single trace of her.
After Dispatch revealed that only eight of the twenty designer items she owned were dupes, the public started to come around.
After five months, Jia posted on Instagram again, thanking everyone who still supported her.

Things started looking up for Jia and she started posting on her Youtube channel again.
Sehoon was also under fire, but for him the critique came when he was a contestant on the show.

International viewers in particular thought he made some very controversial remarks.
Others also pointed out that his crush on Jiyeon became a bit strange when he would not stop going after her.
Eventually, the two left the island together though.
After Single’s Inferno ended, the pair never outright mentioned they were in a relationship.

However, they were hinting at it in videos and interviews where they appeared together.
On Instagram they also made very clear that something was going on with the endless support they were giving each other.
Things changed when the two stopped following each other on Instagram.
Fans assumed their relationship was over, but neither of them posted anything about it.
It seems like the breakup did not faze him, because he was more occupied with posting his restaurants.
It is hard to be fazed by anything if you are the owner of three restaurants!
Now onto Single Inferno’s it-boy Hyeonjoong, who seems to have moved on from the show completely.

Viewers were hoping he and Jia would stay together after the show. They were left disappointed when Jia revealed the two were just friends.

She ended up unfollowing him shortly after but people did not look too much into it considering she had unfollowed every male contestant from the show.
When Jia was in the midst of her scandal, Hyeonjoong unfollowed her which led to fans criticizing him.
He decided to post a statement regarding the issue.
He explained that he unfollowed her, because she unfollowed him, so he did not want any unnecessary drama to come out of that.
Hyeonjoong has been mainly focusing on his modeling career, showing off his great visuals on his Instagram!
Their co-star An Yeawon gets praised continuously. Despite the fact that she did not go on dates often, she was still a fan favorite because of her bright attitude.

She left the island in the arms of Kim Junsik but the two remained just friends.

Rumors that she and Cha Hyunseung are dating emerged after the two shot two videos together.
Hyunseung revealed that he regretted not picking Yeawon to go to paradise with.
Their Instagrams were hinting that they might be seeing each other, but nothing is confirmed.
Sihun decided to take his acting career more seriously after the reality show ended.

He was casted for a role in a show called New Employee, which is a Watcha exclusive BL drama.

Sihun is not playing any of the lead roles but the role of Yoosung, who is the main character’s first love and college senior.
It is expected that the drama will do pretty well considering Sihun’s popularity from Single’s Inferno.
Absolute fan-favorite Kang Soyeon decided to make a return in the music industry after Single’s Inferno ended.

First she did various photo shoots, then she made her long awaited return to the music industry with a single titled Loca Loca.
Shin Jiyeon really reached for the sky after her appearance on the show. She managed to get endorsed by no one other than Chanel.

She was cashing checks left and right with the many endorsement deals she got due to her increased popularity.
She also still uploads videos on Youtube where she shares a bit of her daily life.
As for romance, that ship sank given that she and Sehoon unfollowed each other.
Last but not least we have Cha Hyunseung, who was a favorite until he made some bad decisions.

After the show, he hung out with Yeawon and apologized for his bad behavior in a video with her.
The two certainly spent a lot more time together after the finale based on their Instagram photos, but they have not said if these meetings were purely platonic or of a more romantic nature.
Hyunseung continued to model and of course he is still a backup dancer for Sunmi and other idols.
