South Korea recently had to deal with a major loss.
The sudden suicide of 27-year-old actress Yoo Ju Eun startled everyone.
Yoo Ju Eun’s elder brother posted on her personal Instagram account on August 29 that she had tragically passed away.
To fulfill Ju Eun’s final wish, her brother revealed a note that she had left for everyone to read.
In the note, she apologizes to her loved ones for being the first to leave.
Ju Eun admits that she is not at all regretful about her choice.
She is actually fairly calm since she has given it a lot of thought.
She reveals that acting was an important part of her and she admits it might have even been all of her.
She compares acting to a body part she can not ignore.
She said that it is a blessing to have something you want to do, but that it is a curse to only want to do that thing.
Ju Eun was a highly ambitious person, it might have eventually become too much.
Actress Kim Hye Ja was one of her main inspirations, she wanted to become just as good at acting.
With a broken heart, Actress Park Joo Hyun responded to the loss in a story on Instagram.
She wrote, “I hope that you can fly more freely and beautifully than anyone else in that world. I’ll pray for you.”
It is truly a devastating time for South Korea.
