Being one of the top artists in their respective industries and one of Korea’s well-known celebrity couples, Rain and Kim Tae Hee are definitely an easy target for getting involved in scandals and rumors.
On October 6, 2022, a rumor suddenly broke the internet as an article was published from the Korean site ‘Women Article’.
According to the post, a famous top star who is known to be a star of all stars, an all rounder in singing, dancing was allegedly cheating on his wife.
The article claimed that the so-called top star is married to a renowned stunning and intelligent Korean actress but was caught cheating with a pro-golfer who has striking resemblance to his wife.
To make it even worse, the article claimed that the top star even has a separate apartment with the pro golfer and continued his affair with her even after his wife found out and warned him about it.
Since the cheating scandal report appeared, many people speculated that the top star and the beautiful woman were Rain and Kim Tae Hee.
Rain’s agency first shrugged off the cheating scandal issue as they believed it was not worth paying attention to since it was just groundless false information.
However, as the rumor began to spread rapidly and may affect both artists’ reputations, Rain’s company decided to make a statement.
His company then decided to also take legal actions as it became worse as personal attacks have been made and harassment has been directed at Rain and his family.
In addition, Rain’s agency reached out to the media outlet that first reported the rumor to ask if the mentioned celebrity is indeed Rain, and in response, the media outlet confirmed that the mentioned initials do not refer to him.
But still, the agency will continue taking strong legal action without any leniency for those who spread and post false information.
They will also file a complaint for defamation, violation of the prohibition of illegal information distribution, and the spread of false information through indiscriminate sharing.
On the other hand, Kim Tae Hee’s agency also replied to the speculations that the rumor was baseless and that they did not have a position to share because it was made up.
Her agency continued with revealing that the actress herself just laughed out on first hearing about the rumors because it was so ridiculous.
Kim Tae Hee has reportedly never even seen the professional golfer who was pointed out as the one who is having the affair with Rain.
So far, there has not been any confirmation of the identity of the said pro-golfer involved in the cheating scandal.
However, since it was stated in the article that the pro-golfer has a striking resemblance to the wife, many people began speculating that the woman who was involved in the cheating scandal is professional golfer, Park Gyeol.
After hearing about the rumors, Park Gyeol immediately dismissed the rumor and shared her thoughts through a post on her personal Instagram account.

She stated how absurd the rumors are and only got to see them at a sponsorship event years ago.
She didn’t even know their numbers and also added that although she was grateful for the online comments saying that she looks like Kim Tae Hee, she still can’t believe this type of nonsense is happening.
Just like Rain, Jung Suk was also another target for the allegations with him being an actor and him married to singer Gummy.
Therefore, Jung Suk’s agency, Jam Entertainment immediately released an official statement claiming that everything was only groundless false speculations.
Likewise, his agency also stated that they intend to take strong legal action to protect the rights of their artists against defamation and urged the public to refrain from indiscriminately disseminating and sharing incorrect information.
But despite all these rumors and countless attacks towards them, Rain and Tae Hee proved to be one strong solid couple.
They were not afraid to speak up immediately in regards to the situation and even managed to just laugh off on how ridiculous the rumors are for them.
